Vola

Vola is a software company based in Malaga, Spain, operated by Vola Play S.L. It builds a platform for clubs and organisers of padel, tennis and pickleball, covering tournaments, leagues, circuits, court bookings and payments. Players use an app for iPhone and Android to enter, pay, follow results and see rankings.

Its aim is to take the admin out of running competitions. The system builds draws in up to nine formats, works out rest breaks and assigns courts automatically, and sends notifications to players' phones instead of relying on large WhatsApp groups. If an entry is not completed or a payment is cancelled, the place is released straight away so someone else can take it.

Vola's own site says it has handled more than 14,000 tournaments across padel, tennis and pickleball, and that it has been working with clubs for seven years. It is the technology partner behind the Padel League UK app, where players choose their league, enter with a partner and pay inside the app.
