Refund policy
This page explains when you can get your money back after entering a Padel League UK league. Entry and payment happen only in the Padel League UK app, and each player pays their own half of the team fee. Nothing here takes away your legal rights as a consumer. This season, a few leagues do not use the app (Glasgow, Edinburgh, North East, Yorkshire, North West, London, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Derbyshire). They enter with an online form and pay once for the whole team on the form's payment page, so for them the team (not each player) is refunded, and you ask by the Player Support form or by emailing info@ukpadelleague.co.uk. Refunds for those entries go back to the card or payment method that was used, and the same sign-up deadline rule applies.

In short
- Up to the sign-up deadline, you can change your mind and get your entry fee back in full.
- After the sign-up deadline, no refunds are given. This includes scheduling problems and a partner dropping out.
- If we cancel your league, or your league is joined with another and you cannot travel, you can ask for a refund.
What you pay and who is refunded
A team entry costs £65, so each player pays £32.50 in the app. If your team includes a returning player, the app takes £15 off automatically and the team pays £50.
Each partner pays their own half, so a refund goes to the player who paid, for the amount they paid. Court hire is not part of the entry fee. Players book and pay for their own courts, usually through Playtomic.
Changing your mind before the sign-up deadline
You can get a refund of your entry fee up to the sign-up deadline, shown on each league page and in the app. To ask, tap the Player Support button in the Padel League UK app, or use the other ways below.
If only one of you withdraws, the other can use the Find a Partner button in the app to find a new partner before the deadline. The new partner enters and pays their own half.
After the sign-up deadline
After the deadline, no refunds are given, including for scheduling problems or players dropping out. The only exceptions are the two cases below.
If your league is joined with a neighbouring league
If too few teams enter, we may join a league with a neighbouring one so that everyone still gets a full season. This can mean longer journeys.
We will tell you as soon as we decide, by email. If you cannot travel to the joined league, you can ask for a full refund, even though the deadline has passed. You must ask within 7 days of us telling you.
If your partner drops out
After the deadline, neither player is refunded. Instead, the player who stays can ask for a new partner to take the place:
- Ask through the Player Support button in the app, as soon as you can. A new partner is at the administrator's discretion.
- Each team can make one permanent partner swap per season. Temporary substitutes for a single match are not allowed.
- The new partner must not already be in another team that season.
- How the entry fee is shared when a partner is replaced is agreed with our team for each case, so please tell us what you would like to happen when you ask.
- If the partner who leaves is the returning player, the team may lose the £15 discount.
Injury or illness
Tell us as soon as you can through the Player Support button in the app. You do not need to give medical details. Before the sign-up deadline, you can withdraw and get a refund. After it, there is no refund, but you can ask for a new partner to take your place under the swap rules above.
If a player leaves part way through the season, results are affected. If fewer than half of the matches are complete, all results involving that player become forfeits. If more than half are complete, played matches stand and only the remaining fixtures are forfeits. The administrators decide what is fairest.
Fixtures you miss
We do not refund any part of your fee for fixtures that you miss, whatever the reason. Match captains arrange fixtures using the app's match chat and your division WhatsApp group, so speak to your opponents early to agree a new time. Padel League UK is not responsible for court no-shows.
If we cancel your league
If we cancel your league before round 1, you will get a full refund. If we stop a season part way through, we will refund the fee for the rounds not played.
If you are removed from a league
A third conduct complaint means removal from the league with no refund. The conduct rules are in your league info pack.
How to ask for a refund
The quickest way is the Player Support button in the Padel League UK app. You can also use the support form at www.ukpadelleague.co.uk/player-support/, or email info@ukpadelleague.co.uk. Please tell us your name, the email address you use in the app, the league and season, whether you are asking for your partner too, and the reason.
How long we take
We will reply within 3 working days. If we agree a refund, we will ask the payment provider to send it within 10 working days.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through the payment provider that took the payment. We cannot refund a different card or person. It can take several working days to show in your account.
