South West Padel League is now Bristol

The South West Padel League has a new name. From today it is the Bristol Padel League, and it is focused on Bristol and the area around it.

What is changing

• The name. Everywhere you saw the South West Padel League, you will now see the Bristol Padel League: on this website, in the league map, on the Register interest form and in the info pack.
• The focus. Matches are played at any padel venue in and around Bristol that works for all four players.
• The WhatsApp community. It is the same community as before, now called Bristol. If you are already in it, you do not need to do anything.

What is staying the same

The dates are the same. Entry opens on 19 October and closes on 15 November, round 1 starts on 23 November and the season runs to 31 January: eight rounds plus a catch-up week. The price is the same too, £65 per team, or £50 if one of you played last season. You enter in the Padel League UK app, and you and your partner each sign up and choose the Bristol Padel League.

The new league information pack has the dates, how the app works, scoring and the rules. You can download it from the Bristol Padel League page.

Players in Devon: play in the AxClub league

If you play in Devon, you can now play in the AxClub league in Axminster. It is a venue league, run at AxClub, and it enters in the Padel League UK app like every other league. Entry is open until 15 November, and round 1 starts on 23 November.

Find out more on the AxClub league page, where you can also download its league information pack.
