Ten pairs, one Saturday: the Masters Series Finals

Sponsored byVelozia

Five regions. Five playoffs. Ten pairs left standing. On Saturday 28 November, at Padel Up Teesside, the Masters Series finds its champions.

It is the one competition in our leagues that nobody can enter. There is no application form and no sign-up page. The strongest pairs from our leagues are invited to a regional playoff, and they earn that invitation the hard way, week after week across a season. Those playoffs were played in the South East, Scotland, North England, the Midlands and the South West. Each was settled in a single session, in a fast format, and only the top two pairs from each went through.

That leaves ten pairs, from across the country, with one court between them and the title.

The Finals are open to spectators, and there are only 300 tickets for a full afternoon and evening of top-level padel on indoor courts. There is seating, a DJ and food and drink on site, and spectators can take on open challenges through the day, with prizes to win. If you have ever wanted to see what the best of our leagues look like when it matters, this is the day.

Here are the ten pairs who made it through, in the order they were announced. Remember the names. On Saturday afternoon, one of them is going to be very hard to get off the court.
